First of all, the stop sign is, without a doubt, the most ironic of all obstacles one could crash one's car into. When a runaway or stolen car ends up being stopped by a stop sign, it just makes us a little happier to be writing about it. Anyway, on to the story at hand.
An eight year old munchkin in Cheektowaga, NY got up early one morning to steal his mother's car, take it for a joy ride, crash it into the irony obstacle, and then diffuse the anger by saying "I was just trying to be like mom," which presumably melted her matronly heart. How did he manage to reach the pedals and the wheel though? Sounds like a suspiciously long eight year old to us.
