We hate to admit it, but there are more important things in the world than sports! Like, you know, friends and family and…well, that's about it, right?

Last night, Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia proved it when his manager Bobby Valentine came out onto the field in the middle of a game to inform him that his wife Kelli had just gone into labor. Despite the fact that it was only the seventh inning and that the Sox were playing against the Yankees, Pedroia bounced with the quickness.

So, is this what we can expect to see Ben Roethlisberger do later on this season?
