Here's how you know when you've played too much Madden 13…
On Monday afternoon, Michael and Abrey Mayweather—two brothers from Racine, Wisc.—got into a heated argument during a game of Madden 13. Michael got upset after a loss. Abrey taunted him a little bit. And, an argument ensued.
That argument quickly escalated into Abrey, 19, challenging his 21-year-old brother to a fight outside. And then, as if that wasn't bad enough, the two brothers ended up getting into an all-out fistfight that resulted in the door to Aubrey's apartment getting ripped off the hinges. They also attracted a bunch of witnesses who gathered to watch the two brothers (do we have to point out that these two were brothers again?) take shots at one another in the hallway.
But, the best part of the whole story is that the brothers are apparently really close. So close, in fact, that Michael spends four or five nights a week at Abrey's apartment "because it is much more convenient for him because it is closer to his probation officer and anger management classes" than his place is.
SMH. We love (love, love, LOVE) Madden 13. But, this is just ridiculous. Chill the eff out, fellas.
