Before we tell you why we hate a Tim Tebow story that we just read, let us remind you: It is only week 2 of the NFL season, people. Again: IT IS ONLY WEEK 2 OF THE NFL SEASON, PEOPLE! And, while we know that NFL writers have to come up with intriguing storylines despite the fact that it's only Week 2—The Packers season is over! The Ravens are headed to the Super Bowl! The Patriots are gonna go 16-0!—we can't stand to see so any of them jump the gun this quickly. So, now, about this Tebow story…

According to a column that was published in today's New York Daily News, Timmy Touchdown is already—yes, already!—starting to thinking about what he's going to do during the 2013 offseason. And, Gary Myers, the writer of the story, talked to an anonymousNFL source (meaning it could be Roger Goodell—or it could be an intern at the league office) who said that he believes Tebow will want to be traded at the end of the 2012-13 NFL season if he is still serving as a backup to Mark Sanchez.

"At the end of the year, I think he will express those concerns to the Jets," the source said. "He will want to move on. The one thing about Tebow is he is the quintessential team player. He would never do anything that is going to undermine the team. But, he's a football-aholic. It's in his blood…Absolutely he will talk to the Jets or we will have misevaluated his competitive nature."

STOP. Seriously. Just stop. We get that New York-based newspapers like the Daily News have to print something about Tebow everyday. But, again, IT IS ONLY WEEK 2 OF THE NFL SEASON, PEOPLE! A week ago, 90 percent of NFL analysts predicted Tebow would be the starter for the Jets within a month after Sanchez fell apart. And now, after one good game from Sanchez, Tebow wants out? Yeah. Like we said, just stop.
