In case you missed the Redskins/Saints game on Sunday afternoon—and haven't been tuned into ESPN for more than five minutes since then—here's all you need to know about the game: Robert Griffin III was outstanding. Seriously. The guy looked like he'd been playing in the league for years. So, you'd think that the NFL would be thrilled with him right now. But, as it turns out, they're not.

You see, prior to the game on Sunday, RG3 was warming up in New Orleans with a 'Skins shirt on that featured the Nike logo prominently. Well, at least it was supposed to feature it prominently. But, RG3 is an Adidas guy these days. So, he went out of his way to obscure the "Swoosh" by blacking it out with a Sharpie and turning it into the letter H to help spell out the word "HEART." That, of course, is a no-no, though, as Nike is now the official uniform provider of the NFL. So, the league's spokesman Brian McCarthy had something to say about RG3's actions yesterday.

"It won't happen again," he said.

Yikes. RG3 wasn't fined for the stunt. But, you can fully expect him to be Nike'd out when the 'Skins take the field against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. We've gotta give him props for the good effort, though. Nice try, rookie.
