8. The Saints Return to the Superdome After Katrina

A year after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, the Saints returned to the Superdome and offered some comfort to a region that had seen so much destruction. In front of a sell-out crowd of over 70,000, the Saints routed the Falcons in a 23-3 victory. The game also featured pre-game performances by Green Day, U2, and the Goo Goo Dolls.
