The Brooklyn Nets are currently scouting for a practice facility location in and around the planet of Brooklyn. As of today, the Nets practice in East Rutherford, NJ, about 15 miles and an hour drive from the Barclays Center and fly out of Newark Liberty International Airport. So, most of the players live on the other side of the Hudson in Dirty Jersey, while others live in Manhattan. Gerald Wallace—who's from a small Alabama town and now resides in Clifton, NJ—says he's scared of BK and is looking for a driver to take him to and from the arena. That might change in two years once the lease is up at their NJ practice facility. NY basketball fans won't be seeing their favorite players riding the subway home or taking strolls through the neighborhood like Clyde Frazier and Phil Jackson used to do back in the 70s. Well, at least they can go for a late night bike ride with JR Smith. #koldgame

NBA players tend to live closer to their training facilities instead of their home arena anyway. Do you feel like this a big deal?
