Goodyear has announced a series of self-inflating tires for trucks. The system is simple but elegant, and will help truckers get good fuel economy reliably, reduce tread wear, and optimize performance. Goodyear says that every 10 psi lost from a tire reduces fuel economy by 1%, which would cost a trucker about $627 annually.

Seriously Goodyear, we want a passenger car version.
