The new Ford Fusion Hybrid's EPA ratings are so good, that only the 2012 Toyota Prius C and Prius are better. At 47 mpg in both the city and on the highway, it leads the way for hybrid sedans. Below are the ratings for the rest of the engine and transmission options for the Fusion:
- 170-hp, 2.5-liter inline-four, with six-speed automatic: 22/34
- 179-hp 1.6-liter turbocharged four, with six-speed manual: 25/37
- 179-hp 1.6-liter turbocharged four, with six-speed automatic: 23/36
- 237-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four, with six-speed automatic: 22/33
- 237-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four, with six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive: 22/31
