Dwight Howard Indicates That He's Going to Play For the Lakers "For Many Years to Come"

Is he a Laker for life?

None

Dwight Howard might be a Los Angeles Laker for life. Despite the fact that he has just one year left on his current contract and could walk away from the team after the 2012-13 NBA season, the former Magic big man indicated that he wants to be in L.A. for a long, long time yesterday when he tweeted out the photo that you see above with him standing next to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as well as a message that all Lakers fans will love to hear.

"Me and @kaj33 together," he wrote. "For many years to come."

Take it for what it's worth (it's only Twitter, folks!). But, DH's tweet could indicate that he's ready to commit to Los Angeles long-term. Then again, this is Dwight Howard that we're talking about, so we'll have to wait until his name's on the dotted line before we believe anything.
