Global architecture firm Gensler has recently revealed a conceptual solution to the infamously congested London Heathrow airport, a new airport with about 3 miles of floating runways, to be located in the Thames Estuary and titled London Britannia Airport. The conceptual design would provide travellers access to the already existing underwater rail tunnels that connect London to the European High Speed Rail network.
