Afzal Kahn originally purchased this "F1" license plate for £375,00, and he knew it would be an investment of amazing returns. As he explains, number plates, unlike property or other investments, have never fluctuated in value. They only go up. So, it really shouldn't be a shock that he recently turned down £5M offer for the plate. Why sell, if he knows the worth is only going to continue to rise?Besides, it's not like he desperately needs that money at the moment. He's doing just fine reworking Porsches, Range Rovers, and Ferraris.
