Ad Agency Uses Caricatures of Politicians to Draw Attention to Potholes in Russian City

A local blog in the city of Yekaterinburg teamed up with an ad agency to help get the city's potholes repaired.

The city of Yekaterinburg, Russia, the nation's fourth largest city, apparently has some really shitty roads. The potholes on the streets of Yekaterinburg are, in fact, so bad that a local blog URA.RU decided to hire an ad agency to help bring a resolution. The solution devised by the agency, Voskhod, is what you see in the images above. The series of caricatures depicts the city's governor, mayor, and vice-mayor with potholes located in the city's center as their yawning mouths.

The last thumb is an after picture, representing the timeless effectiveness of attacking a politician's image, as word of the campaign spread, causing immediate results. Check out the ad Voskhod put together below:
