During the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Kerri Walsh-Jennings was risking life and limb in her pursuit of the third straight beach volleyball Olympic gold for her and her partner, Misty May-Treanor. But as she revealed today in an interview on "The TODAY Show," there was something else far more important going on in her life while she competed a couple of months ago. "When I was throwing my body around fearlessly, and going for gold for our country, I was pregnant and today I’m 11 weeks pregnant,” said Walsh-Jennings.

On April 9th, Kerri and her husband, Casey, are expecting their third child. The U.S. Olympian also confessed that the couple was trying to get pregnant before the Olympics, but it wasn't until the Games were underway that she started feeling the effects.

“I’m a pretty happy girl and I was unreasonably moody,” she explained. “I thought it could have been the stress of the games and travel kind of throws your schedule off, but I knew. At some point, you’re late and then you start feeling something. And I definitely started feeling something in London.”
