Who is the fastest person in the world? No surprise here, it is stillUsain Bolt. After many people wondered if Bolt had lost a step following his recent losses in the races leading up to the 2012 Summer Olympics, Usain shined when it mattered most by winning the men's 100 meter dash and setting a new Olympic record of 9.63 seconds. Fellow training partner Yohan Blake of Jamaica came in second (9.75) while Justin Gatlin of the United States finished in third place with a time of 9.79.
