The Ariel Atom Bumped to 700 Horses With DDMWorks Kit

As if it need to go faster.

Why would DDMWorks want to put a turbo AND a supercharger in a beefed up go-kart that gets from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds? Because they can, basically. This thing's got a 2.0-liter Ecotec I4 engine with Wiseco pistons, bigger connecting rods, a Garrett GTX 3076 turbocharger, a custom M62 supercharger, a custom exhaust system, and an ARP hardware unit. That brings a 1,450-pound vehicle to 700 horsepower, meaning 2.07 pounds per horsepower. We can't think of any car that could beat that.
