Terrell Owens is officially a member of the Seattle Seahawks. Although he signed his new one-year contract with the team earlier in the week, TO made things official by stepping onto the practice field with the team for the first time yesterday. He also spoke to a large group of reporters after practice ended and talked about how things are going to be different for him this time around now that he's back in the NFL following a year away from the game.

"It's all about for me now being part of something rather than being the center of something," he said. "I understand a lot of the media is here because of me and, again, I have changed in a lot of ways. A lot of things have occurred in the last two years, and I've had a lot of time to think about things and put things in perspective and I just want to move forward and leave all the things that happened five to 10 years ago behind me. That's where I am mentally."

TO is saying all the right things. But, will he still think all this the first time he's buried third or fourth on the depth chart? Guess we'll see. For his sake, we sure hope so. This might be the last chance he gets.
