The Olympics are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. An experience that should be shared with close family and friends, unless you represent St. Kitts and Nevis. Prior to the final heat of the men's 100 meter race, Kim Collins was sent home after violating team's rules. The Guardian is reporting that Collins was kicked off the team for leaving the Olympic Village without permission to see his wife in a London hotel.

After receiving word of his forced departure from the Olympics, Collins went on Twitter to express his feelings towards the injustice:

"For those who saw me run in Mexico. That's the last time I represent my country. Even men in prison get their wives to visit. I'm a married man, this means that I signed the ultimate contract to forsake all others for my wife. Plain and simple.."

All the years of training and gearing up for such a momentous occasion only to have it all taken away for an absolutely ridiculous reason. We feel for you, Kim.
