We've got some bad news for you if you were looking forward to the roll-out of the city's long-awaited bike share program.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced on Friday on his morning radio show that the city’s bike share program would not be rolled out until Spring 2013, citing "software problems" as the cause. The program was initially scheduled for a partial July 2012 roll-out with a total of 10,000 bikes and 600 stations to be installed by summer 2013, which was later pushed back to August.
