This afternoon, a hacker had a little too much fun toying with the emotions of Yankees fans everywhere. After breaking into the team's Facebook page, the individual posted a message revealing that Derek Jeter would miss the rest of the season. After a strong year that included a .316 batting average, the Yanks' faithful must've felt the disheartening blow...until they read the suspect reason for his visit to the disabled list: sexual reassignment surgery.
The message went on to say, "He promises to come back stronger than ever in 2013 as Minnie Mantlez." While it will be difficult to find out who exactly pulled the stunt, we'd put our money on a Red Sox fan. Still can't believe it to be true, huh?
