LeBron James has a reason to dance. After getting the metaphorical monkey off his back and leading the Miami Heat to an NBA title, James followed up that performance by helping Team USA reach the mountaintop and grab the gold medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics. As a team-oriented player, LeBron may fail to realize the individual accolades, but the 27-year-old became the 2nd player in NBA history to win the league's Most Valuable Player award, the Finals MVP and a gold medal in the same year. The only other player to accomplish such a feat? Michael Jordan. Pretty good company, huh?
Oh, and did we mention that King James also became the first player in United States Basketball history to record a triple-double in a game? Can't wait to see what he'll do for an encore this fall.
