Battery-electric luxury cars are coming to market faster than we'd ever imagined. Infiniti, for example, will launch its own LE (second image) in 2014, introducing a system that will not require plug into a wall charger. That's right, battery-electric cars are going wireless. Seems bold, but of course is fitting given how common cordless charging is for the rest of our goods.

Perhaps more exciting than charging is Infiniti's electric car concept, the sporty Emerg-E. Rumors suggest it could form the base for a second battery-electric offering from the brand in the very near future. [The Detroit Bureau]
