With the Orioles sitting in a tie for the final American League wild card spot and in playoff contention for the first time in years, it made us think back to when the Orioles were a force nearly 30 years ago. From 1966 to 1983, the O's won three World Series and won the AL Pennant six times.

Before the Red Sox and Yankees started buying their victories with hundred million dollar payrolls, Baltimore was a model franchise.
