As you can see in the photo above, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Robert Sacre looked like an idiot on Tuesday at the NBA's annual rookie photo shoot in Tarrytown, N.Y. While all of the rest of the rookies in attendance had their official team jerseys on, Sacre was forced to wear a Lakers jersey that looked like it was plucked off the clearance rack at TJ Maxx. In case you're still confused about what we're talking about, dude didn't have a number on the front (or back) of his jersey! So, what gives? Where'd the number go, big fella?
"Dwight [Howard] took my No. 12 that I was wearing in the Summer League," the former Gonzaga star explained after the shoot. "I can't argue with that. That's what happens when you have seniority. I'm OK with all of this. I just want to get back on the court."
Alrighty. But, you do realize you're going to need a new number to do that, right? With only about a month before training camp starts, you might want to get on that. Like, now.
