Texting while driving is massively stupid. Car & Driver even did a study that showed that it is worse than downing a few beers before getting in your car. Chance Bothe texted, just before he drove off a cliff, "I need to quit texting because I could die in a car accident."
Technically, he did... three times. He suffered a crushed face, a broken neck, a fractured skull, and traumatic brain injuries. While in the hospital he coded three times and the doctors managed to bring him back.
