When John Taylor steps onto the field with his Central Penn Piranha teammates, you wouldn't miss him. In the mass of behemoths, a guy nicknamed "House" sticks out like a sore thumb, thanks to his enormous 6-foot-11, 500-pound frame. As a defensive lineman, Taylor isn't setting the league on fire, but instead, his primary role is to simply "take up space," so the linebackers can squeak by unnoticed. And at 35 years old, "House" spends most of his time on the sidelines and tends to be used "in short-yardage situations, when the other teams needs to pick up only a few, tough yards," according to the team's owner and head coach Ron Kerr. What's the irony in hearing a football player say that someone else is a big dude?
