Rollin', rollin', rollin', keep that Volvo rollin'. Seventy-two-year-old Irvin Gordon hasn't let anything get in the way of him driving his 1966 Volvo P1800S. Since passing the 1.6 million mark in 2002, Gordon has held the Guinness World Record for highest mileage vehicle, and he is rapidly approaching double that after only 10 years. Before retiring he was logging 125 every single day in his candy red classic, and since has taken numerous road trips, averaging around 90,000 miles per year.

"I have had coffee in every state," said Gordon. "I am my own travel channel."

Gordon, who is from Long Island, originally paid $4,150 for the car, opting for the AM/FM radio but not the air conditioning. He regularly does his own tune-ups and oil changes, but has had the engine rebuilt twice. There's one essential part to this story that we love, though: He doesn't let anybody else drive it.
