The Subaru BRZ's stock boxer isn't bad, but it sure doesn't make the car fast. It's lively and precise, but not fast. We all knew that turbocharged variants were only a matter of time, and it looks like Accelerated Performance from Toledo, OH is the first company to slap a turbo on the beast.
With only 4 psi of boost, due to complications related to the 2.0L boxer engine's very high compression ratio, Accelerated Performance managed to add 54.5hp to the engine, for a total of 254.5 horses. We need a 0-60 figure now.
