One simple mod is all it takes.
By removing the speed limiter from the Nissan Leaf's reverse "gear" the car can apparently hit top speed going the wrong way. Of course, the gentlemen at Nissan took this to mean "we need to do the Goodwood Hill Climb backwards." This is that video.
