Putting one's head down to reduce aerodynamic drag is a valid technique in carting; putting it behind the steering wheel so that one can't see isn't. While one driver was blinding himself for the sake of aerodynamics, another was slowly pulling out into the racing line from the pits. Somehow, nobody was injured, but that looked like it hurt like hell.

Suddenly flipping and hitting asphalt at 70mph usually does.
