With the 2012 Summer Olympics set to kick off on July 27th, there were a couple final touches needed to be made before the United States basketball squad headed off to London. One of which was figuring out who would make it on the final team roster. A little while ago, the announcement was made, so without further ado, here is the 12 players who will be repping the U.S. this summer:

Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks
Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
Tyson Chandler, New York Knicks
Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers
James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder
Andre Iguodala, Philadelphia 76ers
LeBron James, Miami Heat
Kevin Love, Minnesota Timberwolves
Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers
Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder
Deron Williams, Brooklyn Nets

As you can probably tell, Rudy Gay, Eric Gordon and Anthony Davis did not make the final cut, but do you see anyone that clearly shouldn't be on the list? While the job of Team USA managing director Jerry Colangelo isn't an easy one, we do believe that the talent on this group has all the makings of a gold medal team. But hey, maybe we're just being a little biased.
