Inside of this combination 20-foot long shipping container and truck is Del Popolo's wood-fired oven, where the pizza truck makes some of San Francisco's finest Neapolitan-inspired pizzas. The operation is totally transparent, literally, with the truck holding just enough room for the oven, a counter, and the register, and the entire length made of windows that open onto the street allowing customers to see their pizza as it's made. Owner Jon Darsky spent $180,000 converting the truck to suit his particular needs.
