Reggie Jackson Has Reportedly Been Banned From All Team Events By the Yankees

Remember that classic scene from The Godfather where Michael Corleone tells his brother Fredo, "Don't ever take sides with anyone against the family"? Well, that's kind of what's going on with Reggie Jackson and the Yankees right now. Despite the fact that "Mr. October" is Yankee royalty, he's in a ton of hot water for going against the Yankee family recently by sitting down with Sports Illustrated and talking about how Alex Rodriguez and other admitted PED users shouldn't be allowed into the NationalBaseball Hall of Fame. And, although he tried to apologize to A-Rod, Yankees manager Joe Girardi, and Yankees officials last week when the article hit newsstands, ESPN's Buster Olney is reporting that the Yankees have cut him off from the family—at least for the time being—as a result of his actions and banned him from all team events.

Let this be a lesson to the rest of you Yankee legends out there: Don't ever go against the fam. Or else...
