Peyton Manning is already stepping up and assuming his leadership role in Denver. After hearing about the movie theater shooting in nearby Aurora, Colo. early Friday morning that claimed the lives of 12 people and left 58 people wounded, the Broncos new quarterback sprung into action on Saturday afternoon by spending some one-on-one time with a number of the shooting survivors. According to the Medical Center of Aurora, Manning visited the center and met with several of the victims in an attempt to "lift their spirits."

Way to take the lead on that, Peyton. Aurora needs it right now.
