Well, that certainly didn't take very long. Less than 24 hours after Robert Kraftappeared in the most awkward acting audition of all time, the owner of the New England Patriots has released a statement explaining exactly what he was doing in the video with his girlfriend Ricki Noel Lander.
"I tried to help Ricki prepare an audition tape for an upcoming Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson comedy by reading Wilson's lines," Kraft said in a statement released earlier this afternoon. "I never intended that it would be made public and I regret that it has. I think we can all agree that Owen Wilson has nothing to worry about. I am going to stick to my day job."
Excellent idea. Next time, stay far, far away from the camera!
