Dez Bryant's Mom No Longer Wants to Pursue a Case Against Him

She's apparently had a change of heart.

Last week, Dez Bryant's mom Angela called 911 and claimed that she wanted to put an end to the physical violence that her son had used against her. As a result, the DeSoto Police Department arrested the Cowboys wide receiver and, yesterday, the Dallas County district attorney officially charged Bryant with misdemeanor family violence. But, the case might be thrown out soon now that Angela has reportedly filed an affidavit of non-prosecution with the DA, meaning that she no longer wants to pursue a case against her son.

So, does that mean Dez is off the hook? Probably. The DA will make that decision. But, if Dez does manage to avoid getting into any trouble, let's hope this is the last time we hear his name in the news for anything like this.
