When Derrick Rosewent down with a torn ACL in his left knee in late April, many people believed that the road to recovery would be a long one. In May, the Chicago Sun-Times suggested that, at best, Rose would return to the court by January or February, but there was also some speculation that the one-time league MVP could miss the entire 2012-2013 season. Well, we got good news and bad news.

The good news is that Derrick Rose probably won't miss the entire season. The bad news, the Bulls front office isn't expecting him to return to action until March. That means, by the time Rose comes back, Chicago will need to be in solid contention for a playoff spot before they fully entertain the idea of putting their prized point guard out on the court. All in all, it's going to be a rough season, Bulls fans.
