While everyone's getting ready to see if Team USA can live up to the hype in London, there's actually some quality basketball being played on this side of the pond. One example being the Dru Joyce Summer League. MarShon Brooks of the Brooklyn Nets (let that shit burn Jersey fans) recently went off by dropping 44 and 47 points in two consecutive games.

Brooks has been going hard all summer and dropped 34 points to tie the Orlando Summer League record earlier this month. He averaged a respectable 12.6 PPG as a rookie last season. While everyone's focusing on D-Will and Joe Johnson, Brooks could play a pivotal role in the Nets battling for New York basketball supremacy. Peep the clip to see Mr. Brooks doing work. Scared yet, Knicks fans?
