Today, David Aldridge reported that Brandon Roy would decide where he was taking his talents within the "next day or so." Apparently, a certain member of Roy's family accidentally let the cat out of the bag a little too early because Alex Kennedy, NBA reporter for HOOPSWORLD, sent out a tweet just a short while ago stating that the 27-year-old guard has agreed to a 2-year, $10 million deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

After one season away from the league, Brandon Roy announced that he will make a comeback as soon as next season. Even though he would've liked to return to the Trail Blazers, NBA rules stated that he needed to wait another year to make that happen. With a couple of teams still vying for his services, the Seattle native opted to head in a new direction and the Timberwolves, with their solid crop of young talent, seemed like the perfect destination. So, with all these new, exciting moves already in place, can we just start the 2012-13 season already?
