Did you catch the 2012 NBA Draft last night? If not, there weren't a whole hell of a lot of surprising moments. Anthony Davis went No. 1 to the Hornets, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist went No. 2 to the Bobcats, Bradley Beal went No. 3 to the Wizards, and…well, if you want know who else went where, check this out over here.

What we want to talk about this morning—and what a lot of you out there will probably be talking about—is Bernard James, who went to the Mavericks with the No. 34 pick through a trade with the Cavaliers. Is it because we think James is going to come in and make a huge impact on the court next season? No. It's because James had one of the best moments of the draft last night when he was selected and the entire Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. broke out into a "U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!" chant. James, who served six years in the Air Force before attending Florida State, was a little taken aback when the arena went wild for a second-round selection. Definitely one of the coolest moments of the draft.
