Can you imagine the NBA without Kevin Durant right now? The only thing standing in between LeBron James and his first championship would be…well, nothing. After seeing how the Western Conference Finals played out, we think the Heat could have handled the Spurs.
And yet, as you can see in this clip, KD almost gave up the game of basketball when he was in eighth grade, which would have meant that he obviously wouldn't be contending for an NBA 'chip right now. Good thing he thought better of it.
