Everyone was cracking jokes about—and criticizing the hell out of—LeBron James and the Miami Heat last night after they lost Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals to the Boston Celtics to fall behind 3-2 in the best-of-7 series. Well, everyone except the young kid that you can hear in this clip, who yelled "Good job! Good effort!" at the Heat as they left the floor. He got ripped for it—"this kid has a shrine for his participation awards in his bedroom," one YouTube commenter wrote—but we sort of enjoyed hearing the voice of a fan who hasn't been completely overcome by cynicism yet.

Don't worry, kid—you'll get there! But, for now, keep being positive. Unless, of course, the Heat lose Game 6 or Game 7. Then, we're gonna need you to STFU and take the L like a man.
