The 2012 Lexus IS F CCS-R Race Car is preparing to conquer the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on July 8, a competition that requires quite a bit of power. The tuned IS F has a 416-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 that puts out 371 lb.-ft. of torque at 5,200 rpm. As with all racers, the car lost weight, dropping 693 lbs. down to 3,087 total. The sporty Lexus has a hefty gear box with its 8-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic with paddle shift and manual mode. It'll be hard to miss this bright orange speedster when it hits the track.
