Hyundai didn’t vault up the sales chart by jerking consumers, and the same applies to the Veloster Turbo. The base version in automatic sells for $22,950 (one G less for a manual); a fully loaded automatic with panoramic sunroof (nice!), navigation and rearview camera will set you back a reasonable $25,450. Whatever your choice, you’ll be spending less than you would for competitors like the VW GTI, Mini Clubman S and Honda Civic Si. (And Hyundai’s 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty is pretty clutch.) Meanwhile, the V-T’s 25/34 city/highway MPG (automatic) isn’t best in class, but it’s close.
