On Friday, the Giants' Pablo Sandoval met with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department to discuss "a consensual, personal relationship of a sexual nature that took place earlier that day," according to the San Francisco third baseman's lawyer, Eric Geffon. While any further details about the meeting are still unclear, this isn't the type of news his team wants to hear as Sandoval recovers from his May 4th surgery to remove a broken hamate bone in his left hand.

Following Saturday's 2-1 win over the Cubs, manager Bruce Bochy only said that "he needs to get ready to help us out" when Sandoval's name was brought up. The man nicknamed "Kung Fu Panda" could return from surgery as early as Friday.
