Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Trucks to Bring Off-Road Stadium Racing Back in 2013

NASCAR driver Robby Gordon is bringing back indoor, off-road racing with his new series Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Trucks. The first season of the series is set to start sometime in 2013 with each race paying out $40,000 to the winning driver, $15,000 for 2nd place and $5,000 for 3rd, with a $500,000 pay-out for the series champ. Old-school off-road race legends Danny Thompson, IvanIronmanStewart, and Walker Evans are all set to take part as well as supercross and off-road racer Ricky Johnson, NASCAR racer Justin Lofton, off-road stars Justin Matney, Jessie Johnson, Luke Johnson, Andrew Caddell and Casey Currie, and rally star Samuel Hubinette.

With R/C car builders Traxxas as the series' only sponsor so far, Gordon promises more information as the series debut draws nearer.
