Patrick Dempsey, who is mostly known for eliciting swoons from sorority girls and middle-aged women, will be racing for Mazda in the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans.
He will be driving a car powered by a 2.2L Skyactiv-D turbo-diesel. This news, along with the LMP2 chassis shown, but not raced, at this year's race will mark Mazda's first full return to the race since winning with a rotary powered car in 1991.
