The latest concept from airplane seat manufacturer Contour Aerospace and product design consultancy Factorydesign, the "Air Lair" is a double-decker seating pod that features a seat that turns into a fully flat bed, mood lighting, and a projector for in-flight entertainment and food and duty-free menus. The pods offer passenger comfort unseen in any airplane to date and also boasts an added 30% more seating on the craft due to it's double-decker design.
While the list of features sound amazing, the concept really sounds like just another opportunity for airlines to boost the prices of airfare, so don't expect to see these on your next Spirit Air flight to Miami. Check out Factorydesign director Adam White discussing some of those features below:
