This past weekend, a national kickball tournament was held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Who knew?! Anyway, these folks don't just play for kicks. Get it? They are really competitive and take the sport very seriously. In this video, the contest is in extra innings and the game-winning run is at 2nd base. The guy at the plate kicks it to left field and the man on 2nd tries to come home.
Now, just in case you forgot the rules, if the ball hits the runner, that player is automatically out. So, when dude sees the ball at the last second, he pulls off some acrobatic maneuver and dodges the ball while still finding a way to touch home plate and win the game! Doesn't this make you wanna step back out on the field now?
