Complex Says: The designation “LeMans” has a long history as far as Moto Guzzi is concerned. In 1976, they produced the first LeMans models as cafe racer-style bikes, which then evolved over the next few generations. By the time they stopped production in 1993, styling cues and targeted riders had changed so much that the bike became more of a sport touring bike. For 2002, the company decided to revive the LeMans name as a designation for their half-faired V11. It's sleek, it's modern, and the combination of all those blacked-out bits with the red and pewter just makes us go, “Oooh” in an alarmingly purry voice.

Complex Says: Simple. Striking. Lovely. We also can't think of a less intimidating bike to try taking apart, if you haven't ever picked up a wrench but want to start. No fiddly plastic bits to worry about, unlike on modern faired bikes. The fact that it's been maintained so well over the years makes it less likely that crucial bolts have seized, too -- but we can't guarantee anything.

Complex Says: Of the classic Italian marques of days gone by, we most rarely see Laverdas out on the road -- barring vintage motorcycle events, of course. This one has been well-maintained, and even comes with the original 2-up seat if you want it (though the seller says it may need new foam). The seller also says that he loves it so much, he'd never sell it if he didn't need the money. Times are tough, but as any motorcyclist can tell you, sales are easier if the seller can sense that their baby is going to a good home. If your garage is that good home, bid or Buy It Now.

Complex Says: We only have one hard criterion for a track day bike: it has to be something we don't really care about. That way, if something happens to it (which it will; it's a track bike), we will neither cry nor kill someone. We're pretty sure this bike doesn't meet that standard, because it's just too pretty. Then again, you could just keep it on display like the current owner has -- but that's also defeating the purpose. What do you do when a bike that's meant to be thrashed around on a track is just too pretty? Only one way to find out.
